Baku: Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter, filled with wishes for continued friendship and cooperation, marks the 107th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s National Day.

In the letter, President Sisoulith extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to President Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence that the friendly relations and cooperation between Laos and Azerbaijan will continue to grow stronger, benefiting both nations as well as contributing to peace, stability, and sustainable development in the region and globally.

President Sisoulith also took the opportunity to wish President Aliyev good health, personal well-being, and success in his endeavors, while extending wishes of lasting happiness and prosperity to the people of Azerbaijan.
