Concerning the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Latvia supports solution on the basis of international law. International law also means territorial integrity of countries, said President of Latvia Egils Levits as he made a press statement following his meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
“And I think it’s time to achieve such kind of peace agreement. And we only support that both sides would agree to peace agreement. Lasting peace is possible only when the peace is based on international law and territorial integrity,” Levits noted.
