Lavrov’s deputy spoke about delimitation of Armenia-Azerbaijan border

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia (MFA) hopes that the parties will achieve progress in stages in the issue of delimitation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin said in an interview with RIA Novosti, APA reports.

 

“We take the position that implementation of all trilateral statements dated November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26 2021, and October 31 2022 which formed the road map for the comprehensive normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations at a high level will help to get a progress in the works carried out on the peace agreement, ” said Mikhail Galuzin.

 

Lavrov’s deputy added that they hope for gradual progress in the delimitation issue of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border: “We expect gradual progress, especially in areas such as the restoration of transport and economic relations in the region, delimitation of borders and solving humanitarian problems”.
