Baku: President of the Republic of Lebanon General Joseph Aoun has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in honor of Azerbaijan's Independence Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Lebanese President expressed his warmest congratulations and sincerest wishes to President Aliyev, extending them on behalf of himself and the Lebanese people.

In his letter, President Aoun emphasized his hopes for President Aliyev's continued health and well-being, as well as for the ongoing progress and prosperity of Azerbaijan under Aliyev's leadership. He highlighted how the occasion of Independence Day serves as a symbol of unity and cooperation, offering an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and enhance joint efforts between Lebanon and Azerbaijan. The Lebanese President expressed his desire for further accomplishments that would bring prosperity and benefit to both nations and their peoples.

President Aoun concluded his letter by assuring President Aliyev of his highest consideration and best wishes, reinforcing the friendly relations between the two countries.
