Lisbon: Shahin Kazimzade, Advisor to the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Azerbaijan, participated in the Portuguese Paralympic Committee’s gala event in Lisbon on December 10. The event, dedicated to the outcomes of 2025, was attended by Kazimzade at the invitation of the Portuguese Paralympic Committee. During the event, a letter of gratitude was presented to the National Paralympic Committee of Azerbaijan, recognizing its cooperation.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, on December 9, Kazimzade had a meeting with Jos© Manuel Louren§o, President of the Portuguese Paralympic Committee; Leila Marques Mota, First Vice-President of the International Paralympic Committee; and Tiago Carvalho, Vice-President of the Portuguese Paralympic Committee. The meeting focused on discussions around the development of the Paralympic movement in both countries.
The discussions also covered expanding existing cooperation, medical classification, and education. Additionally, the organization of joint training camps was highlighted as a crucial step to enhance athlete development and strengthen international collaboration.
