Lankaran: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, along with Arzu Aliyeva, Head of the Baku Media Center, explored the creative work of decorative-applied arts master Samir Habibov in Lankaran.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva visited Habibov's home-based workshop to view his extensive collection of decorative handmade works. During their visit, Samir Habibov shared insights into the nuances of artistic wood carving, the materials he uses, and the decorative pieces he creates. The Aliyevas observed the intricate carving process firsthand and participated in crafting handmade pieces.
Samir Habibov, having learned the craft from his father, specializes in creating souvenirs, decorative items, and household products from various types of wood, adorned with national ornaments. His handcrafted souvenirs are available to consumers through the "ABAD" retail and sales network.
