KURDAKHANI — Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and head of the IDEA Public Union, led a clean-up initiative on the shores of the lake in Kurdakhani, involving volunteers from the IDEA organization.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the clean-up action, part of the “Green World Solidarity Year,” saw participants remove a considerable amount of waste, particularly harmful plastic debris, from the environment. The activity aimed to enhance local biodiversity preservation, promote public engagement in environmental protection, and raise awareness about the impacts of littering on natural habitats. The IDEA Public Union continues to encourage broader community involvement in tackling global environmental issues and preserving natural resources for future generations.
