Baku: On August 24, Leyla Aliyeva familiarized herself with several works of the Bukhara Biennial, as part of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's state visit to Uzbekistan, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Bukhara Biennial is organized by the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation (ACDF) and is recognized as one of the largest cultural events in Central Asia. The inaugural edition of this event is set to be held in 2025.

Currently, the first Bukhara Biennial showcases up to 70 works by local and foreign artists. The event offers a platform for cultural exchange and artistic expression in the region. The second edition of the Biennial is scheduled for 2027, promising to continue this tradition of celebrating diverse artistic voices.
