Masalli: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, visited the Masalli district. During her visit, she toured the Juma Mosque, a significant historical and religious-cultural monument in the region, to familiarize herself with its architectural and historical significance.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Juma Mosque, located in the center of Masalli city, was originally built in 1846 with financial contributions from local residents and philanthropists. Following the country's independence, the mosque was restored and resumed its role as an active place of worship. In the years that followed, the state undertook major repairs, and in 2001, the mosque was listed as an immovable historical and cultural monument of local importance.

At the conclusion of her visit, Leyla Aliyeva received a copy of the Holy Quran as a gift, marking the significance of her engagement with the historical site.
