Abu dhabi: On February 3, Leyla Aliyeva visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, APA reports. The mosque is one of the six largest mosques in the world and bears the name of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder and first President of the United Arab Emirates. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the construction of the mosque began in 1996 and it is designed to accommodate approximately 50,000 worshippers at a time. The mosque is known for its continuous recitation of the Holy Quran within its premises.
