The list of goods exempted from import customs duty has been expanded by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers from 8 July. From 1 January this year, goods imported by legal entities and individuals for gratuitous provision to state bodies, as well as funds established for public and social purposes are exempted from import duty. These goods also include those imported for the creation of immovable property and enterprises in the form of a property complex with subsequent transfer on a gratuitous basis to state bodies, as well as funds established for public and social purposes. At that, when importing such goods, supporting documents of the beneficiary state body or foundation are required. The foundations established for public and social purposes are Heydar Aliyev Foundation, "Yasat" Foundation and the "Karabakh Renaissance Foundation". This decree of the government will be valid until 31 December 2026.
