Accra:Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys has extended his congratulations to Azerbaijan on its Restoration of Independence Day.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the Lithuanian Embassy in Azerbaijan shared the message of congratulations via a social media post.

In a letter to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Budrys expressed his wishes for Azerbaijan's lasting peace, stability, and sustainable prosperity. He also reaffirmed Lithuania's unwavering support for Azerbaijan's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, while expressing a readiness to enhance friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
