French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday brokered a deal for Russian President Vladimir Putin to hold trilateral talks with Ukraine and the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), APA reporys.

French officials said the talks would take place on Monday in an effort to avoid a Russian invasion of Ukraine that would lead to a large-scale conflict on Europe’s eastern fringes.
