Shamakhi: A magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck Azerbaijan's Shamakhi district on Friday, according to the Republican Seismic Survey Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, The quake, depth of 12 km, was recorded at 15:52 local time.
