Baku: Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, has extended his sincerest congratulations to Azerbaijan on the occasion of their Independence Day. He expressed his wishes for good health, happiness, and success to the leadership, as well as continued progress and prosperity for the people and Government of Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Abbas emphasized his desire to further develop and strengthen the bilateral relations between Palestine and Azerbaijan. He expressed high appreciation for Azerbaijan's position on the Palestinian issue, highlighting the importance of the ties between the two nations.

In addition to his Independence Day wishes, President Abbas also congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the holy Eid al-Adha, extending his best regards to the nation during this significant time.
