Officers of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) detained an active member of an organized crime group at Dordoi market. The SCNS press center reported.

The active member of an organized crime group is suspected of extorting money from truck drivers who brought cargo to the markets of Osh region and Uzbekistan.

During a search of the suspect’s house, they found a sawn-off shotgun, knives and religious literature.

The investigation is ongoing.
