Members of AzerGold’s CSR Committee Meet with Citizens in Goygol

Goygol: Members of AzerGold CJSC's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee recently convened with residents in the Goygol district in what was described as the final meeting of the year. This initiative, supported by the district's Executive Power, saw participation from notable figures including Vugar Novruzov, Head of Goygol District Executive Authority, along with members of the Board of Directors of AzerGold CJSC and other company representatives.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting was organized with backing from the Executive Power of the district and attended by residents from the villages of Tulallar and Zurnabad. These villages are situated near the 'Tulallar' gold mine, where AzerGold is actively engaged in mining operations. Vugar Novruzov highlighted the significance of the projects executed by AzerGold CJSC, praising their role in enhancing the socio-economic landscape of the district and expressing gratitude for their efforts.

Khayyam Farzaliyev, Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the CSR Committee of AzerGold CJSC, addressed the gathering. He elaborated on the initiatives undertaken to boost employment and improve the living standards of Goygol district residents, linked closely to the operations of the 'Tulallar' gold mine. Farzaliyev revealed that 158 locals have secured permanent employment due to AzerGold's activities.

The meeting facilitated an extensive discussion on various social assistance campaigns successfully carried out throughout the year. Topics included projects supporting agricultural enterprises, education, and environmental protection. Citizens' appeals were heard, and new initiatives were deliberated. Concerns raised by residents were documented for further investigation and resolution in line with the Society's jurisdiction and legal framework.

It was affirmed that traditional meetings with village residents, aligned with initiatives targeting specific groups, will persist into the next year. In conclusion, attendees received heartfelt holiday greetings on behalf of AzerGold CJSC in anticipation of December 31, celebrated as Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year.
