The Baku Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a seminar-conference on “Basic principles of Civil Defense” at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

The aim of the event was to increase the knowledge of teachers and students on the rules of behavior in case of emergency situations and civil defense and take measures to prevent fire or explosion accidents in educational institutions.

The employees of the MES Baku Regional Center, teachers and students of the university attended the seminar.

Making a keynote speech, Deputy Head of the Center, Kamil Baghirov gave information about the importance of the topic and the activity of the MES regarding the organization of Civil Defense work. He said that the Azerbaijan State University of Economics pays special attention to this field.

Then, the employees of the Center gave detailed information about the basic principles of Civil Defense, emergency situations and rules of behavior in this case, and videos on the topic were shown.

In the end, the questions of the participants of the seminar were answered.
