The State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to take appropriate measures to ensure fire safety in the country in accordance with its powers.

Thus, on the basis of information received on illegal construction and installation work in a residential complex located in Yavar Aliyev Street, Bakikhanov settlement, Sabunchu district, Baku, the employees of the State Fire Control Service inspected the facility. During the inspection, it was found that the citizen was carrying out construction and installation work on the first floor of the 20-story residential building No. 7 without the consent of the relevant government agencies with the view of expanding the non-residential facility. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that the construction and installation work was being carried out on the shaft, which is intended for ventilation of the parking area located in the basement of the residential building.

The State Fire Control Service ensured the demolition of illegal building in accordance with the law and restored the operation of the ventilation shaft of the underground parking.
