MFA Reports Two Landmine Explosions Over Two Days in Azerbaijan

Baku: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has reported two landmine explosions over two consecutive days, resulting in injuries to three civilians.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry shared this information on the social media platform X, highlighting the ongoing danger posed by landmines despite the conclusion of the 2020 war. Since the end of the conflict, a total of 436 individuals have been affected by landmines in the region.

The Ministry emphasized that these incidents underscore the persistent threat landmines pose to lives, reconstruction efforts, and the safe return of displaced persons in Azerbaijan.
