According to the information of Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan, on November 16, 7 servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army became Shehids (Martyrs), 10 servicemen were wounded during the combat operations that occurred on the state border as a result of Armenian provocations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan told APA.

“We strongly condemn the continuation of military provocations by the Armenian side on the basis of revanchism. The military-political leadership of Armenia directly bears responsibility for the escalation of the situation in the region and obstruction of the implementation of the trilateral statement.

Any threats and military provocations against the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan within its internationally recognized borders will be responded to adequately after this.
