Baku: Mihai Pop?oi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, has extended an invitation to Azerbaijani companies to invest in Moldova. During a joint briefing with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, Pop?oi emphasized the importance of regular consultations and mutual support within international platforms in the coming years. He expressed Moldova's willingness to enhance bilateral economic and energy ties with Azerbaijan.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Moldovan minister expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its support during Moldova's energy crisis. Pop?oi stated that the relationship between the two countries should not be confined to the supply of natural gas but should also include green energy initiatives. This call to broaden the scope of cooperation underscores Moldova's commitment to diversifying its energy sources and strengthening economic ties with Azerbaijan.
