Baku: The liberated territories have strong economic potential, as more than 80 percent of the country's strategic mineral reserves are concentrated in these areas, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov stated during a dialogue organized within the framework of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Jabbarov emphasized the significance of the mining industry as a primary area of economic activity in these regions. The concentration of mineral resources in the liberated territories indicates a substantial opportunity for economic development and growth within the sector.
