Baku: An initial report about the discovery of military ammunition on the 7th Kondelen Street, Narimanov district of Baku, was received by the ‘112’ hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, APA reports. In response to the report, a rapid response team from the Special Risky Rescue Service (SRRS) specializing in mine clearance was dispatched to the scene.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, following appropriate security measures carried out jointly with law enforcement officers, an operation involving a specially trained dog led to the discovery of 21 combat-ready F-1 hand grenades, 9 rounds of 7×62 mm ammunition, and 1 training F-1 hand grenade. The discovered ammunition was removed from the area by specialists from the SRRS rapid response team for neutralization.

No other dangerous or suspicious items were found during additional searches conducted at and around the incident site.
