Baku: A public hearing titled 'The Azerbaijani language as an integral component of national sovereignty and human rights - the state of the Azerbaijani language in foreign countries' will be held at the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, this initiative has been included in the Work Plan of the Parliament's Human Rights Committee for the 2026 spring session. The focus of the hearing will be to discuss and evaluate the status of the Azerbaijani language outside the country's borders, highlighting its importance as a key element of national identity and human rights.
