Baku: A mine explosion has occurred in the liberated Kalbajar district, resulting in injuries to one individual, APA reports. The incident has prompted a joint statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office, and ANAMA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Kamran Shukur oglu Suleymanov, born in 1953 and a resident of Gaynag village in the Tartar district, sustained injuries from a mine explosion while grazing livestock in an area that had not been cleared of mines. The Kalbajar District Prosecutor's Office is conducting an investigation into the incident.
ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor General's Office have reiterated their call for citizens to adhere to safety rules. They emphasized the importance of paying close attention to mine warning signs, avoiding contact with suspicious objects, steering clear of unfamiliar areas, and not interfering with areas where fencing activities are ongoing.
