Kyiv will receive dozens of Leopard tanks in the near future, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said in an interview with the Polish press, APA reports.

“In the coming weeks, dozens of “Leopard 1A5″ battle tanks will be delivered to Ukraine from Germany and Denmark,” Pistorius said.

The minister noted that the new military aid package for Ukraine worth 2.7 billion euros will include “IRIS-T” air defense systems.
