Approval of the new division of economic regions by President Ilham Aliyev is of special importance in terms of restoring the historical names of Azerbaijani lands, as well as ensuring economic specialization, implementation of effective investment policy, increasing flexibility in governance.

AZERTAC statement came from Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, reported.

“This approach contains new realities formed after the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War and is an important impetus for the revival and progress of our liberated territories. “The harmonious and comprehensive development of economic zones will contribute to the economy of our country and the well-being of our people,” he said.
