Baku: The full operation of the Middle Corridor is set to significantly accelerate economic growth in Azerbaijan, as stated by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov. This announcement was made during the discussion of the ‘State Budget Envelope of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026’ at the session of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Jabbarov highlighted that Azerbaijan is currently undergoing deep reforms aimed at diversifying its economy. These reforms are expected to gradually impact economic growth, with the Middle Corridor playing a crucial role. The minister emphasized that the corridor’s full operation will serve as a permanent factor in boosting economic growth over the medium and long term.
