Baku: "The benefits of investment in education are not limited to the education system alone," Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev stated at a conference titled "Promoting Global Solidarity through Cooperation for Humanitarian Support and Development," held to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Azerbaijan International Development Agency.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Amrullayev emphasized Azerbaijan's commitment to making education a central part of its international cooperation efforts. The country is actively working to transform this commitment into tangible opportunities for young individuals from partner nations. The minister highlighted the significance of international education grant programs as a vital mechanism in achieving this goal.
During the academic years spanning from 2018 to 2023, Azerbaijan's special education grant programs have enabled approximately 200 foreign students from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement to pursue higher education in Azerbaijan. This initiative reflects Azerbaijan's dedication to fostering global solidarity and development through educational support.
