Minister Jeyhun Bayramov Emphasizes Strategic Partnership with China in Azerbaijani Foreign Policy

Baku: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has underscored the significance of deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership with China as a pivotal aspect of Azerbaijan's foreign policy. In a recent interview with the Chinese Global Times, Bayramov elaborated on the current state and future prospects of the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and China.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Minister Bayramov discussed various areas of cooperation, including political, economic, trade, green energy, and transport-logistics. He emphasized the importance of these collaborations in strengthening the ties between the two nations.

Minister Bayramov also addressed the ongoing peacebuilding efforts in the South Caucasus, highlighting the potential growth of the Middle Corridor and the Zangezur Corridor as vital components in international freight transport. Furthermore, he mentioned Azerbaijan's involvement in international and regional platforms such as the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), underscoring the broader scope of Azerbaijani-Chinese cooperation.
