Vienna: Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, has declared that Azerbaijan and Armenia are currently experiencing their most peaceful and stable period in recent times. Addressing the 32nd Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna, Austria, Bayramov underscored the progress made by both nations in implementing tangible measures across governmental, parliamentary, and civil society levels.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Minister Bayramov highlighted Azerbaijan’s unilateral decision to lift restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia as a gesture of goodwill aimed at furthering the peace momentum. This move is seen as a significant step in the ongoing efforts to normalize relations between the two countries.

Bayramov emphasized that direct bilateral negotiations remain the most effective method for advancing peace, a stance consistently advocated by Azerbaijan. He reiterated Azerbaijan’s commitment to the peace agenda and called for reciprocal political will and responsibility from Armenia. He stressed the importance of good faith and timely implementation of commitments to finalize the normalization process between the two nations.
