Bratislava: The Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has paid an official visit to the Republic of Slovakia. This visit was made at the invitation of Slovakia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Mr. Robert Kalin¡k. The Ministry of Defense shared this information with APA during the visit.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the official welcoming ceremony took place in Bratislava, where Colonel General Zakir Hasanov reviewed the guard of honor. The meeting between Colonel General Hasanov and Mr. Kalin¡k involved a comprehensive exchange of views on the existing military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovakia. Both parties emphasized the significance of reciprocal visits in strengthening their military relations.

The discussions extended to exploring opportunities for enhancing military and military-technical cooperation between the two nations. As part of the official proceedings, the exchange of gifts was followed by Colonel General Zakir Hasanov signing the Book of Remembrance, marking the significance of his visit to Slovakia.
