“Heydar Aliyev is the Great Leader of the Azerbaijani people,” Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov told journalists, APA reports.

Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov emohasized that Heydar Aliyev always defended the interests of the Azerbaijani people during the USSR and independence, and sacrificed his life for our people: “Azerbaijani lands were liberated from occupation under the leadership of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. Addressing the people on the occasion of the liberation of Shusha, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief said that he was very happy that he had fulfilled his father’s will. This was the most important will of the Great Leader, and Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev fulfilled the most important will of the Great Leader. When Heydar Aliyev came to power for the second time and in his speech at the presidential elections, he stated that the first issue was the liberation of Karabakh and the return of our lands. In his speeches, the great leader mentioned the names of each of those districts. Today, the Azerbaijani flag vawes in those regions. For 30 years, these issues were strategically planned and prepared. Today, the Azerbaijani flag is flying in those lands liberated by the Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, and Azerbaijan is carrying out construction work in those lands. Those lands will forever develop as an integral part of Azerbaijan.”
