Mobilization Service Takes Action Against Corruption

Baku:The State Service for Mobilization and Conscription released statistical data for the third quarter of 2026, highlighting its ongoing efforts to combat corruption.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Over the first nine months of 2026, the State Service implemented disciplinary actions and staff measures against 122 employees, including 72 in managerial positions, due to illegal actions and abuse of authority. Two employees were discharged to the reserve on negative grounds. Additionally, materials concerning 144 individuals involved in 91 cases were forwarded to the prosecutor's offices for further action.

Since July 1, 2024, medical examinations for citizens called up for military service have been conducted by the State Agency for Medical Insurance and Expertise, under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. This follows a presidential decree aimed at improving medical examination activities.

In 2026, the State Service has advanced digital integration processes with state bodies to enhance promptness and objectivity in decision-making, as part of the 'Regulations on the Unified Electronic Information System' initiative approved by Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers.

Citizens are encouraged to report corruption or illegal activities through the 9100 Call Center or via email at [email protected]. They are also advised to create electronic accounts for accessing services and connecting to the 'MyGov' platform.
