Yevlakh: On July 1, a modernized residential neighborhood in the city of Yevlakh was inaugurated with the participation of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency,the 'Healthy Neighborhood' project was implemented pursuant to the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. As part of this initiative, the Ministry of Youth and Sports established sports facilities in the neighborhood. These facilities include mini-football and basketball courts with artificial turf, various outdoor fitness equipment, and tables for table tennis and chess.
In addition to the sports facilities, the Yevlakh City Executive Authority undertook several enhancements in the area. They installed gazebos, numerous benches, and new lighting poles in the courtyard. Renovation efforts also covered the facades and entrances of the residential buildings, resurfacing of roads, upgrading electricity lines, and the creation of a green area featuring trees, seasonal flowers, and shrubs.
During her visit, Leyla Aliyeva reviewed the landscaping works completed in the neighborhood. She actively participated in planting seasonal flowers alongside IDEA volunteers. Aliyeva also engaged with the young residents of the neighborhood by presenting them with gifts and posing for commemorative photos.
