Moldovan FM Condemns Iran’s Drone Attacks on Azerbaijan, Expresses Solidarity

Moldova: Moldova strongly condemns the attacks on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan targeting civilian facilities and injuring two civilians, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Mihai Pop?oi said in an X post, APA reports. "Moldova stands in solidarity with Azerbaijan and reaffirms its support for its sovereignty and territorial integrity," the Minister noted.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, drone attacks were carried out against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. One drone hit the terminal building of Nakhchivan Airport, while another fell near a school building in the village of Shakarabad. The airport building was damaged and four people were injured.
