Baku: The Prosecutor General of Mongolia, Jargalsaikhan Banzragch, emphasized the significance of a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on legal cooperation with Azerbaijan during a meeting with journalists. He noted that despite the geographical distance, Mongolia and Azerbaijan share common historical traditions, culture, and national values. The meeting between the presidents of the two nations at the COP29 summit in Baku in 2024 marked a new chapter in their bilateral relations.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the MoU, signed during Banzragch's visit, aims to elevate the mutual interaction between the prosecutorial authorities of Mongolia and Azerbaijan to a new level. The document is expected to open up broad opportunities for collaboration in combating crime, addressing reparations for damages caused by criminal activities, and enhancing the exchange of expertise between the Prosecutor General's Offices of both countries.
