Mongolia’s Prosecutor General Visits Azerbaijan, Memorandum Signed

Baku: A delegation led by Mongolia's Prosecutor General, Jargalsaikhan Banzragch, is on an official visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Kamran Aliyev, the Press Service of the Prosecutor General's Office told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Jargalsaikhan Banzragch paid respects by laying a wreath at the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor. The delegation also visited the graves of prominent ophthalmologist scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, well-known statesman Aziz Aliyev, and Professor Tamerlan Aliyev. Additionally, the guests honored those who were martyred for Azerbaijan's independence by laying flowers at the Alley of Martyrs.

During a meeting between Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev and his Mongolian counterpart, it was highlighted that relations between the two countries are developing dynamically. The effective cooperation ties between law enforcement agencies were emphasized, with a useful exchange of views on cooperation in the fight against crime. An agreement was reached to continue cooperation in areas like extradition, legal assistance, training of prosecutors, and other directions.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed during the meeting to strengthen legal cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of the two countries, aiming to further intensify the existing relations in the future.
