Montenegro’s Foreign Minister Condemns Iran’s Drone Attacks on Azerbaijan

Podgorica: Montenegro's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ervin Ibrahimovic, engaged in a phone conversation with Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, as relayed by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ministers discussed regional security issues in depth, emphasizing the importance of increased diplomatic efforts and adherence to international law amidst the escalating situation in the Middle East. During the call, Minister Bayramov informed his counterpart about the drone attacks executed by the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on March 5. He articulated that this action contradicts both Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and international law.

Minister Ibrahimovic strongly condemned the actions of Iran, expressing that the drone attacks are a matter of serious concern. He further demonstrated understanding and support for Azerbaijan's position in this matter. The discussion also included a mutual exchange of views on other topics of shared interest.
