On 17 February at 23:40 near Yukhary Aghali village of Bilasuvar region there were found packages with drugs weighing over 8 kg (marijuana, heroin and opium).

On February 18, at 23:30 near the village of Arayatyly, Fizuli region, the border guards found two packages with more than 20 kg of drugs (marijuana, opium and psychotropic pills).

On 19 February at 3.25pm over 5kg of marijuana was found near the village of Beyuk Bahmanli, Fizuli region.

In addition, the State Border Service and State Security Service conducted a joint operation on the morning of 19 February near Sharifan village, Zangilan region. Ilham Baladzhaev, a native of Jabrayil region, was detained while driving a Nexia car. Two packages with 9 kg of marijuana were found in the car.

Investigative actions are still ongoing in all the cases
