Jabrayil: More than 500 travelers have visited Karabakh, according to Mehrac Mahmudov, the organizer of the travelers’ visit to Azerbaijan. The announcement came during a media briefing as part of a travelers’ trip to Jabrayil, APA’s local bureau reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mahmudov shared that nearly 500 travelers have already visited Karabakh, with an additional 30 arriving recently. This group of travelers includes visitors from 14 different countries. Nine of these travelers have explored every part of the world. The tours primarily focus on showcasing the liberated territories and introducing visitors to the ongoing reconstruction efforts. The travelers are also informed about the extent of landmine contamination in the region.

Mahmudov highlighted that the travelers are inquisitive about each location they visit, and the organizers strive to address all their queries. Many travelers express regret over the heavy mining of such a small area. He noted the distinction between travelers and tourists, stating, “The difference between travelers and tourists is that travelers explore in a planned and purposeful way, dedicating their lives to this. Regular tourists simply visit the places they choose.”
