MoU on Cooperation Between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan’s Statistical Committees Approved

Baku: The 'Memorandum of Understanding between the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic on Cooperation in the Field of Statistics,' originally signed on July 31, 2026, in Cholpon-Ata, has received official approval. President Ilham Aliyev has issued a Decree sanctioning this agreement, underscoring the commitment to enhance cooperation in statistical endeavors between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Decree mandates that upon the Memorandum's activation, the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan is responsible for implementing its terms. The agreement aims to facilitate collaboration and exchange of statistical data and expertise, bolstering the analytical capabilities of both countries.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has been tasked with informing the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic once all internal procedures required for the Memorandum's enactment are fulfilled. This step is crucial for the formal commencement of the collaborative efforts outlined in the agreement.
