Istanbul: Jos© Mourinho has been handed a three-match ban in Trkiye, Apasport.az reports. Following the Turkish Cup derby against Galatasaray, where Fenerbah§e lost 1:2, the head coach of Fenerbah§e was involved in an altercation with Okan Buruk, the coach of Galatasaray. Mourinho grabbed Buruk by the nose, leading to disciplinary action.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Turkish Football Federation’s Disciplinary Committee reviewed the incident and decided on a three-match suspension for the Portuguese coach. The committee opted against a harsher penalty, taking into account that Buruk had provoked Mourinho during the confrontation.
