Baku:The Mud Volcanoes Tourism Complex has become a significant attraction for international tourists, drawing thousands of visitors from around the globe.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, from January to August 2026, the complex saw 28,979 ticket purchases, with a majority of 26,235 coming from foreign tourists representing more than 150 countries. The largest numbers of these international visitors hailed from China, Russia, T¼rkiye, Israel, India, Poland, Germany, Italy, Bahrain, and the United States.

During the same period, the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan reported that a total of 432,296 tourists bought tickets to visit various reserves and museums under its management. Among these, 303,426 were foreign tourists, while 128,870 were domestic visitors. Additionally, 95,260 people visited these sites free of charge, indicating a robust interest in the country's cultural and natural attractions.
