Baku: Murat Kurum, Trkiye's Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, addressed the 13th United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Azerbaijan, highlighting the commitment to strengthen the relations between Trkiye and Azerbaijan. Kurum emphasized the ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation under the guiding principle of "One nation, two states," which has been pivotal in fostering strong ties between the two nations for the benefit of their peoples.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Technical Cooperation in Building Energy Efficiency was signed between the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Trkiye during the forum. Kurum underscored that the friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye are reinforced by the strong will of both countries' Presidents, paving the way for closer collaboration.

Kurum reiterated Trkiye's determination to further bolster relations with Azerbaijan, with the aim of developing cooperation as two influential states in the region and contributing to global peace. The ongoing efforts and agreements underscore the commitment of both countries to work towards mutual goals and strengthen their partnership.
