Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the United States is degrading itself by providing Ukraine with cluster munitions to be used against Russia, APA reports citing Teletrader.

Musk expressed his view that the US had to have resorted to cluster bombs because it ran out of regular ammunition to send to Kyiv, calling the move an act of “desperation” that “debases” Washington with no change to the outcome.

Musk emphasized that given the disparity in military strength, simply sending more weapons will only result in an increase in casualties without fundamentally altering the outcome of the conflict. “Sending more weapons will change the body count, but not the outcome … Russia has at least 4 times the artillery of Ukraine and 10 times the ammunition,” the billionaire said.
