Baku:According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lu Mei highlighted the significance of the mutual visa-free regime between Azerbaijan and China in enhancing bilateral humanitarian exchanges. She made these remarks during a reception celebrating the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Ambassador Lu Mei observed a growing interest from Azerbaijani youth in learning Chinese language and culture. She mentioned that students from Confucius Institutes in Azerbaijan were invited to deliver speeches and participate in events that showcased the richness of Chinese culture.

She also noted the ongoing collaboration between China and Azerbaijan on various multilateral platforms, including the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the forthcoming Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

The ambassador expressed optimism about the potential for further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations.
