Nakhchivan: In January-July 2026, investments in fixed capital in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to AZN 156.7 million, directed toward the development of the economy and social sectors. This represents a 30.9% increase compared with the same period last year, according to the Nakhchivan State Statistical Committee.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the reporting period, AZN 76.6 million, or 48.9% of total investments, was allocated to the production sector. Meanwhile, AZN 20.1 million, or 12.8%, was directed to the services sector, and AZN 60 million, or 38.3%, to the construction of residential buildings.
Of the total investments in fixed capital, AZN 127.5 million, or 81.4%, was allocated directly to construction and installation works. This figure is 43% higher than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
