Nakhchivan: A passenger bus traveling from Nakhchivan to Baku overturned into a ravine, injuring 16 people, as reported by APA’s local bureau. The accident occurred on the Nakhchivan-Sadarak highway near Khok village in the Kangarli district, necessitating emergency responses from police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the incident involved 15 passengers and one bus driver, who sustained injuries and were admitted to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Hospital for treatment. The victims have been identified as Maharramov Gunduz Shahin, Mansimov Hasan Zaur, Aliyeva Arifa Yahya, Hasanov Oktay Bayram, Masimova Firuza Eldar, Zeynalova Gulshan Safar, Zeynalov Shamil Tofig, Hasanov Rasim Bayram, Sadiqova Gulnara Abbasgulu, Hasanov Gasim Vagif, Ibrahimov Teymur Elsever, Rzayeva Mirvari Israfil, Asgarov Zamina Ali, Budagov Elmir Yusif, and Sariyeva Aida Suleyman. The bus driver, Iranian citizen Yusif Khadaparez Abutalib oglu, also suffered injuries.

Initial reports indicated the bus was en route from Nakhchivan to Baku when it veered off the road and plunged into a ravine.
